Skip to main content Baby Play Area. In stock on March 5, Excellent quality and affordable price! And much better than those cheap round plastic ones that kids can just push over! Add to cart. In Stock. Perfect for a variety of different uses. Having 3 kids under 5, I've used my fair share of baby gates and play yards. The Evenflo play space is very portable, lightweight and easy to fold down and take on the go. You can add and remove sections with a simple push of a button.
I'm currently using this gate to block off my fireplace from my one year old who's fascinated with climbing on it. Also, I will be using it during the holidays to wrap around and block my kids from getting into the Christmas tree. I would recommend this gate.
Fits perfectly with ProSource kids puzzle alphabet. Same time to set up. My kiddo loves to cruise walk while holding onto the fence. If it was possible to tear down, he would have done it already. Makes a great babyjail in our living room that we can tear down with 5 minutes notice if needed. Portable, rugged. Well worth it. Nice to keep baby out of trouble at home. Once he became mobile we had to do an "upgrade" as we noticed he was starting to hit his head on the X shaped metal bars. We tried some alternatives but the best so far was wrapping the metal bars with pool noodles see picture.
You'll need 8 pool noodles and some cuts buy some extra in case you mess up. The pieces will also need a longitudinal cut along the length to fit the bar in. You'll also need some small cuts in the middle of the longer piece to fit the center rivet, where the mesh is attached to the bars. We bought 2 sets, hoping to use both together to form a large rectangle play yard.
That set-up did not work. We have found we have to have a bend between each panel to provide stability, otherwise our little guy would just shake it out of shape. What we ended up doing was just using one set and doing the octagon configuration. If you have wood or tile floors, I highly recommend you also order a foam playmat. I set up the mat we ordered the HemingWeigh Multicolored Mat , placed the panels in the configuration I wanted and placed it on top of the mat.
Then I took a pen and traced along the inside of the metal panels, took the play yard off and cut along my pen line. So the mat fits perfectly inside and my son can't move the play yard around. He is also 18 months Just what I was looking for.
I wanted one large enough so my 10 month old son could play in it with toys while we went camping, but I didn't want to deal with traveling with gates.
Wipes clean very easy. Even the big kids would climb in to play with the baby. I had been using the colorful 8-panel North States baby gate from the time by babies were 6 months-one year.
But once they were learning to climb the gate with their toes in the little holes and use their baby muscles to pull the entire gate down , I knew it was time for a more sturdy option. This thing is great. I have it set up as a wall spliting my living room in half basically. The panels are sturdy so hold up great when my daughter pulls herself up standing against them. As i have it set up as a wall i did anchor it to the room walls byattaching some Velcro to the room wall with a screw at either end then wrapping the Velcro around a piece of each end section.
This has allowed me to create a baby safe area with all her toys and then an adult safe area with no toys to trip over, and itlet meget away with not baby proofing the entertainment center. I love this play yard!!! So let me start off by saying with our first child we had the similar product that Summer Infant makes.
We only used it with 1 child, for about a year, and only indoors with no excess force used on it. We also only used it on carpet and small holes were forming in the bottom canvas. It was Only 15 left in stock - order soon. Have tried several playpens and this is the best I've found.
Easy assembly, but getting the "hinges" to click into place can be tricky, and the gate latch is difficult to open. Thinking about buying a second one and making a little maze, or turning it into a ball pit. Despite my short list of gripes, I haven't found a better product, so I'm rating 5 stars. Definitely could be improved, but I believe all my "complaints", if addressed, would result in a more expensive final product, so ultimately it's a good deal for the price.
I bought one of these for outside. I liked it so much I ordered a second! One perfectly big enough for home use, but as I run a daycare and put 3 or 4 kids in there I bought a second. It's held up really well being left in the yard all summer. The quality is certainly there. The mesh seems very strong and its very easy to collapse and put away. The same goes for putting it together. It just folds in or out. The reason for not giving it 4 stars is the padding on the floor. We had to put additional patting as its too hard.
So keep that in mind when buying this play pen. I would recommend for its portability and the zipper at front. Folds up with Carrying Strap for Easy Travel. Enclosure 26" Tall, Ivory. And extension panels work well to make it bigger. And for when Mom needs to get work done, closing the gate buys some time until our daughter gets impatient. One note - we wanted a bigger playspace so our daughter could crawl around a bit more, so we bought two of the 2 panel extensions. The company I got this instead and it is perfect. The gates open with more than enough room to accommodate all passage, carrying food, laundry, anything!
Love the gate for my child. However, please be careful of the Bears that stick on. I would recommend not putting them on as my son tore off the arm of one last night and put it in his mouth and it got stuck in his throat and he could not breathe.
Luckily I was able to scoop it out but I threw away all the other bears. Please be careful!! There's a problem loading this menu right now. Learn more about Amazon Prime.
